What We Offer
Artisan Advisory Group provides confidential appraisal services that comply with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and meet the highest standards set by the IRS, insurance companies and the Appraisers Association of America. We are a preferred provider for the Chubb Masterpiece Protection Network.
We also provide art advisory services, assisting clients in need of dispersing or acquiring fine art, decorative art, furniture and fine personal property.

Artisan Advisory Group offers advisory services that include creating personalized strategies to build or disperse collections, identify acquisition opportunities and represent clients in transactions.
In the future, should the subject property of an appraisal require to be sold, Artisan Advisory Group can provide brokerage and advisory services to accomplish this.

Laurel Porcelli, AAA, is the Founder of Artisan Advisory Group, LLC. A former Director of Rago Arts and
Auction Center’s Trusts, Estates and Appraisal Department, Certified Member of the Appraisers Association
of America (AAA), Member of the Chubb Preferred Provider Network and graduate of New York University's Appraisal Studies Program, she holds a B.S. in Design from Philadelphia University. A USPAP compliant
appraiser since 2006 and auction house executive, she has successfully conducted estate planning, estate tax, equitable distribution, charitable contribution, insurance scheduling and damage/loss appraisals for private clients, attorneys, wealth managers, insurance companies, artist estates, and internationally recognized museums and institutions. An instructor at Princeton Adult School, she teaches an appraisal methodology course and is a guest speaker for the Appraisers Association of America. Sharing her knowledge with both clients and industry professionals, she advises on how to make informed decisions regarding their collections.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT’S INCLUDED WITH THE APPRAISAL?
Artisan Advisory Group will produce a comprehensive appraisal report that adheres to USPAP standards and when warranted, meets the requirements of an IRS qualified appraisal. The report is provided digitally as a PDF file, or printed copy if requested. Most reports are delivered in approximately six-eight weeks, dependent upon the amount of property involved and the scope of work.
HOW MUCH DOES AN APPRAISAL COST?
Artisan Advisory Group's competitively priced appraisal fees are based on the type pf appraisal and the time needed to complete it. When warranted, we will make a preliminary visit free of charge to asses the individual item or collection. We charge a flat hourly fee for all time otherwise, in addition to expenses approved by the client.
